Who Is Tia?

About:

Talented, Motivated and Ambitious are one some the words that describe Tia the face and voice behind Signature Beauty. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada Tia is natural talent in the beauty world. With an eye for creating beauty in all of what she does. When woman she knew and didn’t know mistook her for a makeup artist and asked her help, she never hesitated to offer her opinion and apply their makeup for them. After falling in love with the way woman would look into the mirror and smile at their reflections. She decided to embark on building a career in the beauty industry and making her mark.

Tia is a full-time, freelance, Professional Makeup artist, Style expert,Nail technician and wax technician. Her role as a freelance make-up artist and style expert allows her to inspire individuals. Tia has specialized in makeup for different ethnicities and persons of colour and is very regarded for her corrective beauty techniques. Her skills include, makeup, manicure, pedicure, waxing, styling and male grooming. She only uses professional standard products and tools, that are photographic and HD compatible.

Tia stands behind what her brand Signature Beauty stands for “Elevating beauty” she believes makeup and aesthetics are merely an extension of ourselves and only enhance the natural beauty we all poses. Makeup and style should not feel intimidating or overwhelming. Women love her ability to enhance their natural beauty and make them feel like the most glamorous version of themselves.

Being that Tia was self taught, she decided to attend George Brown college where she was taught by some of the top Makeup and Nail technicians in the industry. She soaked up everything she learned. She has worked for two of the top international makeup brands.
